Peter constantly used a sketchbook. Wherever he went he would draw, observe and document what he saw. Lesley would often wake up whilst on holidays to find Peter drawing through the window. As a child, if we were sat still for any length of time, we would often become aware of Dad energetically drawing us. This was something he emphatically instilled in his students. Three of his children were, at different times, students of his. Four, if you count the drawing lessons endured during school holidays. With Covid-19 consuming all our minds at the moment, there is no doubt that if he were here he would be coping with this pandemic through obssessive drawing. A practice continued in the education of his children, Owein & Daisy's Art students today.
